I find myself on and off with God. Three or four months i'll be so into God and feeling him and learning and walking and sharing word to others and then here i am lost, confused, not going to church. I struggle and beat myself up everyday feeling as if he has washed his hands of me. I need him but i can't seem to find my place in God. No one in my family is saved. It's so hard for me to live a life for God around my family because i fall right into their sin. I want to show God to my family through me but, i keep letting him down.

MY Sister, Thank you for sharing with us.
I can give you my word, that there is not a Christian amongst this entire group, who is not a Sinner.
Jesus is not interested in righteous people for there are none. But Jesus IS interested in Sinners.
Remember His words in Mathew's gospel? "I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Mat 9:13) Remember at all times, that satan is your accuser, but God is your Saviour. Satan want's to continually accuse you of everything you have ever done, God wants to use those things to change you into a better person, by showing you that there is a better way.

May I suggest that when you go to Church, try to get involved in the different groups. Tell your Pastor what your problem is and ask him to show you how you can be occupied in them. Speak to the leaders of the groups and ask them to help you and involve you in their work. Then throw yourself completely into the work. As you do this you will find others who need your help. God will keep you busy and he will help you to: "Turn your eyes upon Jesus" and take your eyes off the accusations that satan wants to continually accuse you and remind you of.

Hi Sister, thanks for your honesty and humility. Many of us can identify with your note and I know many of us will pray for you.

Do you know you have a relationship with God? If so, please know that you can never lose it. God has promised to never leave you or forsake you. It is important to understand that when we feel this way, God has not deserted us. We have walked from Him. He is right there waiting for you to regain fellowship with Him.

For example, if I don't talk to a good friend for several weeks. We're still friends, but that fellowship we both long for has been hurt. I need to be active in regaining that fellowship.

How do I do that? How do I regain that fellowship I once had with God? It happens through prayer, Bible reading, being with Christian friends, going to church, etc. It is the quality time spent with God in worship, prayer, and Bible reading that regains that fellowship with Him.

If I never talk to my friend or spend time with her, that fellowship is broken. It is the same with our Heavenly Father. He wants us to be close to Him, talk to Him, and worship Him!

you know i do that too. and Gods really been workin with me on it. not many ppl in my family are saved either. and it hard sometimes because in the past year or 2 a lot of my veiws on things have changed so we dont agree on much. but thats what the church is there for. to support you. i personally have a hard time not going to church. but anyway yeah if you go the ppl are there to hold you accountableand help you through those lost confused times....also pray about it. pray to have desire for Him. for Him to draw you nearer.... God will never wash his hands of you if you have accepted Christ as you savior. He aint goin away. He says himself he will never fail or forsake you.
