All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Hi there, I feel doomed in a way and have lost my connection with jesus and god. I was doing confirmation lessons when I decided to quit because it was too hard getting there. I also don't go to church anymore because my fiacne thinks its full of petefiles. The other night I was trying to pray. .. Normally I would feel this beautiful light come over me with jesus presence but I couldn't feel it.. I wonder if jesus and his father are angry at me?? I used to want to be a nun but I can't leave my fiance because it would be too hard for me. On top of that I'm having pre marital sex and can't stop it and don't want to either. Is it possible to still have jesus in my life still? I think I already know that I have pushed him away and chosen my earthly partner over him ... but I don't think I want that.I'm confused...

hi bev,

what i read is petefiles, not pedophiles. i did not think christine meant pedophiles when she wrote petefiles. so if we are talking of pedophiles here, there are a lot of them. they even invade the philippines to abuse our children.

i am so sorry bev, forgive my understanding of petefiles. petefiles? maybe these are files of pete. ikaw naman mam bev, sineseryoso mo naman ang sinasabi ko masyado. ask sir greg to translate this for you. he stayed in the philippines for a long time.

Christine,
I see that you are going through some deep struggles. I suggest you cry unto to Lord Jesus, pour out you heart to Him, don't matter what, all your feelings and everything, then wait on Him for answers and help. Be open to His words and He will give you power to do what you need to do. Please make all the effort to get alone with the Lord in prayer and reading His word.

You are not lost at all. Very fact that you are reaching out shows you are not lost.

Jesus really does love you, now let Him love you. We always need to make time for the one we love.

hello again christine, i told you that you are really special in God's eyes. You see many people concern about your situation right now, for what you feel and what your heart beats , we feel it too, be thankful for the people who are very much concerned to you. You are really loved and cared. Don't forget to read and meditate the precious words of our GOD! I speak blessings in your life as it says by the word of GOD . . . Jeremiah 29 : 11-12 " I know the plans, I have for you. Plans to prosper you not to harm.In those days when you pray , I will listen. Take it too as your own declaration into your life today and for tomorrow ,it is a promise for everybody who believes in GOD and His Son, Jesus Christ.

To my lost sister,

Hi am so glad that you acknowledge your falling apart my simple word remains God will never be pleased by the death of a sinner, his love endures for ever, He is standing at the door knocking waiting for you to open your heart and he will come in and rescue your soul remember the old has passed the new has come also the bible says remember where you fell down and pick up the pieces i know the soul is fighting the flesh and you have to take every burden to Jesus also you must Carry your own cross and above all crucify your body to win it .

Have a soul searching day. And remember Jesus loves you so much give your live to Him you never know what will happen the next minute we are just sojourners in this world.

Hi Christine who loves Jesus, I would guess that by petefiles you mean paedophiles?
(I am not the best speller either)
It is unfortunate that what your fiancé has said what is true for so many who have been sexually abused by those in positions of trust, not only in churches. Jesus is true, do not turn away from Him, we must be aware of His enemies, they are everywhere, even in churches!
The Lord will deal with them, I pray that all paedophiles, rapists, murderers, enslavers, will become quadriplegics until they repent and turn from their wicked ways.
I looked for the perfect church to go to and could not find one as they were all run by mankind, we are all sinners so when I now go church I keep my eyes and ears open and look to Jesus.

What I did was to develop a relationship with Jesus who is the one our heavenly Father commands us to ‘Listen to’ See Mathew 17:5 Mark 9:7 Luke 9:35.
What I did was to read and re read the Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, I high lighted all the words Jesus said, over and over. (Still reading all the other words) It is a beautiful ongoing experience, and then I read the rest of the New Testament then read the Old Testament high lighting all the words God spoke, I found the word opened up in better understanding in a beautiful way.

God loves us that much that He sent His only begotten Son who gave His life for our sins, He paid the price so that we do not have to. We are all sinners well at least I am, and I am in continuance repentance.
Jesus said to pray in secret, so pray for your fiancé, and yourself, repent of your sins,
(Luke 15:7 “I say to you that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner who
repents, more than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance”.)
Forgive all those who have harmed and have come against you, pray for them and do good to them Jesus said that if we forgive others their sins then He will forgive us of our sins/trespasses Mat 6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;
Mat 6:15 but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

I pray for my enemies like this – “Heavenly Father I come to you in Jesus name I forgive ----------- for all he/she has done to me Father draw him/her to Jesus for salvation so that he/she will come to know and love you as I do.”
This way I find that I am praying for and doing good to my enemies – salvation, giving everlasting life the most precious of any gift.

We are all doomed without Jesus, repent – Jesus still loves you.
So do I and your fiancé too.

"I.... have lost my connection with Jesus and God". Your words, I wasted away the better part of 45 years believing I had a connection to Jesus and God and - finally, I learned it was not my connection that counted, but His connection to me. Believe me, there is a great difference! You see, I would learn that God's love - and concerns, for us is a universal matter. He loves - and cares for, all individuals, everywhere, at all times, but His intimate relation with each of us is determined by our willingness to accept our responsibilities - towards Him, towards others. Jesus put it this way, "You must be born again." I am not sure you understand this.

When you came from your Mother's womb, you entered into a relationship in which you would learn through your Mother and Father - and often, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and each would offer their best advice on how you should live your life. Your only response was to accept - or reject, their opinions.

Then, there comes a day certain when you will begin to contemplate eternity, why you are living, what your purpose in living could be, your destination, and all of this will be determined by what you have learned from others.

This opens the door for God to offer His thoughts on the matter and they will be expressed by others who actually know God and are commited to living life, His way, rather than their own. Most of us are fortunate to know a person like this and we begin to respond to what they have to say about living life, God's way.

Unfortunately, it seems, you have not discovered such people in your life. That was what I perceived to be, my problem.
Then, fortunately, I came to real crisis in my life and I reached out to the One I believed might be God and to my great surprise, I discovered He was as real as my last breath. With that, I chose to follow Him - through the life and teachings of His son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, and my life took a 180 degree turn. Gone was the fear, the frustration, the foolishness, replaced by a joy that is inexpressible - as the Bible teaches, and full of His glory.

Therein is my prayer for you - that you discover a real crisis in your life and turn to God for His counsel. He will respond as He is not a respecter of persons, what He has done for me and millions more, He will surely do for you.
