Moses and Aaron

I have a question that probably will turn out to be trivial but its bothering me and maybe some of you will have the answer for me. Ok, Moses' mother hid him in the bulrushes so he wouldn't be killed by the Egyptians. But Moses' brother Aaron was 3 years older than Moses. So why didn't she hide him?

Pharoah hadn't given the order when Aaron was born? He was killing new born males, Aaron was a new born when he ordered that

Because only during the birth of Moses the king of Egypt gave the order to kill the new born of male child of hebrew women. Exodus 2:2-3, Act. 7:19 -20, Heb.11:23.

I guess I was thinking "first-born son" when it actually says "NEW-born son"! Thanks for clearing that up for me!! It was just one of those little details that bug you really bad until you get it straight.
